Without damaging my wetsuit, can I use a thick windsurfing board with no waxing required top for beginner surfing?

I'm 44 years old and a big guy; I weigh around 215 lbs. I am concerned about damaging my wetsuit on this rough/no wax required top and the selection of this board for a beginner.
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Your wetsuit will be fine...

Your ability to surf on a windsurf board may be the issue...

Good Luck

I voted NBA. This was not an answer, but rather a snide opinionated comment. Please refrain from doing this on Mahalo.
Thank you.
