windows update failed.
I have troubles updating windows it wont let me update the system in my computer, I have windows xp home edition, do you know how to fix this problem?

This may seem obvious, but are you running a pirated operating system? One of the most common reasons for updates failing is running a cracked version of Windows. Microsoft is good at detecting them and disables updates.
If your OS was legitimately purchased then it could be a major issue due to critical errors. My advice would be to try to repair Windows XP using the installation CD, once repaired, it might work. Otherwise, it could be time for a fresh install.

If the installation CD doesn't work. Reboot and hit F8 as the system is starting up. Go into Safe mode with networking and see if you can download and install the updates manually.
Failing that, I hate to say it, but a clean install might be in order.
Well bad news for you this is not a pirated version it just wont let me do it, I'll try to use the installation CD and I will let you know if I fixed the problem, Thank you !!!
