This free concert in Central Park is a definite attempt for the musical maven to hopefully gain back some of the respect lost when we were all exposed to the Bobby Brown years. And although we were all clutching our pearls upon finding out Whitney was sliding downhill and confused as to how it "happened so fast," I think Houston fans will embrace her comeback attempt. Whitney and her publicity machine realize this too; after all the concert is free.
But one thing is undeniable at any price, Whitney's talent. Her voice is worth experiencing no matter what the circumstances. I probably won't make it to the actual concert, but the rebroadcast on Good Morning America should be sufficient.
