This sounds like it'll be rather different than the normal Monopoly game though, with no rolling of dice, and no pieces moving around the map. It sounds like you just a pick a spot that's available, buy it, build what you like, and then get a pre-determined daily rent.
I can see that getting quite dull after a short while, since the real fun of Monopoly is in the interaction between the players, making trades, and the ups and downs of the dice rolls. Also it seems like there is no clear end to the game.

M$It doesn't matter if it's on the computer, or old school with a board and dice.
I think that using the whole world to play against the whole world sounds... out of this world!

I've never played an internet game on such a grand scale.
I'm excited and a little intimidated at the same time.
Can I still bicker over the chance cards?

M$I do enjoy a good game of Monopoly & I enjoy massive multiplayer sim & strategy games. The real hook for me is the idea of playing real locations. I have to admit that sounds like a blast.
Will you be playing?

M$And from what I heard, you start out with $3 million fake money, so buying things shouldn't be a problem. You get rent automatically - the dice-rolling part is out. But chance cards are still in. And lest I forget! You can also demolish things. Things that belong to other people.
I'm already eyeing my entire town, although with the number of people I just told about it, I might not be the only one.

M$It doesn't looks like it will be like the regular monopoly with rolling of dice but I still think monopoly fans will love it.
Don't know yet if I will join in on the fun but I will definitely think about it.
Will take a look at it when it goes live.
Interesting.

M$Check its website, which leads to its blog.. but nothing much is there yet..
They still need some 3D building design.. Wonder whether there will be a contest.
I think I'll only have a feel of it first but probably will not play :-)

M$I fail to see how you make money...
The monopoly streets- site and blog are less-than-informative, so I think this will die a slow death.
Too bad, it could have potential.
