I wasn't able to find statistics yet, except a passing mention that most cat owners are female. But I did find this:

Ha ha ha. I love cats too. I wish I a had a video camera today. My Cat yes that is right I said it my cat was nursing on my dog today, both my Cat and Dog are like what I would consider teenagers of course the dog is older. I found it soo funny. She does not even have any milk.
