Will you be going to the famous Venice Carnival this year?
How many of you have been to the Venice Carnival? This year, it will be held from Feb. 26th - March 8th. How is this Carnival different to the New Orleans mardi gras, or the Rio mardi gras?Which one would you prefer attending, if you had the choice?

Mardi Gras sure seems to be one of the biggest celebrations around, judging by the number and quality of parades throughout the world. I have a whole list of different festivals that I'd like to see - eventually. Venice is definitely at the top, but don't forget the Caribbean Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago, or the Carnival of Nice in France.
