Will there ever be an enterprise version of Mahalo Answers?
Most organisations I have worked at are really bad at knowledge management, with most offering tagged emails as a way of Q&A. Will there ever be a Mahalo Answers appliance that we can just hook up and use ala a Google Search Appliance. I believe there could be a market for Mahalo Answers behind the firewall.
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would bet yes. If not from Mahalo, then it seems to me that this format could easily be applied as a plugin to an existing wiki or issue tracking system. It would be fairly straightforward to make a plugin for Jira or Confluence for example.
I'm watching Mahalo's growth to see what the mix of serious/not-serious turns out to be, but I'm interested in how adding competition will help improve collaborative knowledge maintenance and growth.
