Will the Palm Pre eventually overtake the iPhone as "king of the hill"?

The iPhone could use some *real* competition. I just don't know if the Pre is it.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

No. Pre is definitely not it. My guess would be a android based competitor, which has yet to come out. Apple would probably dominate the market for a quite a while.

Never, I think palm is growing week as a business, and Apple is very energized at the moment in all iPods and iPhones.

No way. There's no compelling reason for me (or anyone) to get one.

Today (droid day) I think it's important to note that Android is probably the competitor. Gatner published a study stating that in 2012 Android Platform devices will have a higher market share of the Mobile Realm. It's not commonly believed that the Palm platform will over-throw anybody.
