Will the Orlando Magic come back from an 0-2 deficit in the 2009 NBA Finals?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Only if they start hitting their 3's at a ridiculous rate like they did against Cleveland. Unfortunately for them, I think reality set in...Alston and Pietrus are not 50% shooters from the 3-point line.

Most likely not. They would have to win the next 2 at home to have any chance. Even then they would have to take 2 of the last 3 in Los Angeles. Very unlikely.

The history and statistics are not on Orlando site at this stage. According to ESPN.com:
- Lakers coach Phil Jackson is 43-0 in series in which his team wins Game 1.
-- quote --
- In NBA history, when the home team wins the first two games of a best-of-seven series, they've gone on to win that series 94.2 percent of the time. Only three times in NBA Finals history has a team come back to win the series after losing the first two games (most recently the 2006 Heat).
-- end quote --

I beleive they can because I don't think they can loose every game in the final.

In my opinion, the Magic will have their best performance in Game 3. Coming back home will give them a big boost in energy and should help them to a win. Overall, I'm afraid they will only be able to win 2 out of 3 at home, and will ultimately lose in 6 games. I'll be rooting like hell for them though!!
