Will the GNU hurd kernel replace the Linux kernel once it is finished, or has production it stopped?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$There's been a lot more time and money invested in the Linux Kernel than that of Hurd and I can't see that changing anytime soon. There's too many software, drivers, and utilities written for Linux now to port that all over to a Hurd kernel.

I mean, when it is done. Is it eventually going to replace Linux?
No will not replace Linux as Linus has stated not moving to a non monolithic kernel any time soon.
