Will switching to component cables for the Wii reduce input lag?
Previously I was connecting my Wii to a CRT TV using the included video cables, and now that it's connected to a HDTV (Sony Bravia) I've noticed a LOT of input lag compared to the previous TV (the on-screen pointer is noticeably slow to respond).
Will switching to component cables eliminate this input lag?

Switching cables might help, but the problem is most likely your TV. It is a well known fact that LCD screens can't refresh as fast as CRT screens, so you are pretty much out of luck as far as I know.

I've read up on it a bit since asking the question, and it seems switching to component cables will mitigate some input lag when using an LCD; I'm not sure how much difference it'll make though compared to a CRT.
