Will Ruppert Murdoch be ever held responsible for the implicit and explicit threats against the President?

Are HIS "employees" following HIS orders threatening the life of OUR President?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The short answer is no. You pretty much have to show more than he said he wants the president killed. He has to take some kind of steps. Like if he offered a million dollars for instance.

The long answer is maybe. If this president turns out to be popular it could hurt Murdoch's business interests now and in the future.

Sorry to respond with a counter-question, but what is the source of this information? Is there a news article that we can read?

Are you talking about the cartoon of the monkey being shot in the New York Post? If so you can be sure that Murdoch did not see that before it was printed AND that he would never advocate assassinating a president.

Despite the fact that Murdoch is known for Fox News and their conservative bent, he is actually more of a capitalist than a conservative. He own liberal properties in markets where that makes him more money to do so.

All that being said, Sean Delonas seems to have a history of racists/bigoted cartoons: http://gawker.com/5155855/ten-cartoons-from-sean-delonas
