No. This fellow is just another mock conservative miming the corrupt views that have gotten the party into disrepute the last hundred years. A real conservative would have a completely different agenda and would attempt to conserve the best of society and the country by promoting environmental concerns and education. A true conservative would also stress stabilizing the population size and preventing mass immigration. Chaffetz does not seem to have anything genuinely conservative on his agenda.

It depends what your definition of conservatism is these days and what you consider to being conservative values.

For example, here is a recent conservation between Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity talking about how they represent the real conservatives. Does this mean Jason Chaffetz needs to become like these guys?
