Will Pluto become a moon of Neptune? Does pluto fit the profile of a comet? Did it come from Oort or Kuiper?

It is unlikely that Pluto will become one of Neptune's moons because the two planets (or rather planet and ex-planet) rotate on different planes and never come close to each other (they're always at least 18 astronomical units (about 1 and a half billion miles) apart).
It is now considered to be one of the largest Kuiper Belt Objects and (although there is still debate) it is classed as a dwarf planet.

I read one theory from "Discovering the Essentials of the Universe" that suggested that the gravitational pull from Neptune had a 2/3 orbit resonance and perturbations could cause Pluto to fall into orbit
Is there a possibility of a three body perturbation scenario disturbing the orbit?
