Will Meat-free Mondays work? Can you really go vegetarian, even for just one day a week?

We end up eating a lot of beans, some tofu, fake meat about once a week (like a veggie burger), etc. I think it's totally possible to go meat-free for one day a week even for meat-lovers. It might take a little planning at first but after a while you might just enjoy your day off.
A friend of mine who is a nutritionist actually recommends that her clients consider taking one or two days "off" meat each week to help cycle different kinds of protein as it's better to eat a variety of different kinds of protein regularly.
Some easy meal tips for a meat free day:
- Breakfast: omelet or boiled egg (if you plan to eat eggs) OR a tasty, hearty granola with yogurt or soy milk OR a bagel with cream cheese OR a big healthy fruit smoothie with some protein powder and yogurt.
- Lunch: veggie burger at a restaurant OR a grilled vegetable sandwich on foccacia bread OR vegetarian bean chilli.
- Dinner: chickpea curry with brown rice OR tofu stirfry OR baked tempeh with roasted vegetables OR pasta with fake "meatballs".
Have fun with it! And use it as an opportunity to try new things and not just eat salad for three meals a day as that's definitely not enough food or nutrients.

M$TBH, I regularly have odd days without any meat, it doesn't hurt too much at all.

M$Are you including not eating cheese, milk, or eggs?
If so then i probably cannot do that for even a day. I dont know what i would eat w/o it. I pry would just eat peanut butter and honey for all three meals instead of 2.
