Mahalo set up a fund to help aid Japan!
Folks please just add to this question as a generous tip any Mahalo Dollars you would like to see go to help Japan in this time of crisis and I will personally see that they get to the right people and to the right places.
Thanks in advance!

Our friend Brian San - http://www.mahalo.com/member/brian%20san/ - lives and works in Japan with his family and he is one of the most prolific Mahalo users when it comes to helping out. Brian has been instrumental in all of our previous "Let's Help" threads so not only is raising a little cash the right thing to do in a general sense we should be helping our friend Brian too!
According to messages posted to Brian's Facebook page the Tokyo area where he lives and works was not hit so badly and he and his family are okay.
I will feature this thread on the front page of Mahalo Answers and we can use it to generate the funds we would like to donate to a worthy charity that is helping out those ion need on the other side of the world in Japan. :)

M$It is the time when you can feel the pain even though if it is not literally happening to you. It is the time when you know that it hurts the same to everyone whosoever is it. It is the time when you experience the pain of losing the loved ones. It is the time when you are looked at with the hope of offering a helping hand.
I am happy for irishstephen197 asking this question and raising concerns to help the victims in Japan. It is a good idea to do something for the victims there through the Mahalo portal.
We are relieved to know that Brian is okay and completely safe with his family in Tokyo area.
Buddawiggi's idea of featuring this thread on the front page of Mahalo Answers to generate funds is welcomed with all our hearts. We should donate to raise this fund with our open hearts to help the people and government of Japan in the situation of massive destruction caused by this Tsunami/earthquake.
Thanks to all who would stand up and move to meet on a common ground in the situation of this natural calamity.

M$Also, I recieved word from contacts at houston that the japanese space mission control station also sustained grave damage and is in need of great repair.
Mission control in houston has taken over kibo module tasks and experiments outside of the ISS was not affected.

M$I wish there won't be calamities like this though. It's kind of heartbreaking seeing people suffer so much.

Well done Ramag!! I have to tip my hat to you as well sir, I've seen you all over our community - your a gentleman and a scholar. Thanks for everything!
How is @briansan? I hope he's doing just fine... :(
Hi everyone. My family and I are doing fine. I am currently working in Southern Japan until the train situation (and other concerns) is cleared up. I'm very glad that IrishStephen1974 and buddawiggi set this up. It will really help those in need.

Great effort. I tried to add a tip but perhaps because the Q is closed it did not work, instead directly tipped you @buddawiggi so I hope the $ can be added to the Japan donation tally, thanks!
