Will Mahalo belt system be abolished in the near future ?

Will the Mahalo belt system only covers Mahalo Answers ?
Or Mahalo belt system will be two-belt system: Guide and non-Guide ?

Any insights ?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I earned all the way up to my Brown Belt and for the most part my Black Belt in Mahalo Answers alone. Before June 3rd 2009 there was no page management, no rev share, no vertical management, there was nothing but Mahalo Answers.

I see it this way, as of the upcoming end of page management, vertical management, and revenue sharing from Mahalo SeRPs we are back to that time and there is not really a difference between June 2nd 2009 and July 1st 2010. I think the belt levels will stay the same and the belt tests will be like the ones we had pre-page management.. all based on participation in Mahalo Answers.

The guides are now Mahalo Staff and I would doubt they get any promotion in belt level or tests but of course they will be give the permissions of the highest levels due to the nature of their positions and what that position requires them to be able to do editing wise. We had guides at the beginning too, a similar number of them, they were called RFTGs and RPTGs .. remote full time guides and remote part time guides. Jeff Hoard being the last of the RFTGs to be employed by Mahalo.

We have merely gone back to the time before page management.

Ditto - I too became a brown or black belt before page management.
