Will joining a study group help me in my anatomy class?

How can joining a study group help me learn more about anatomy? Should I have study partners to help enhance what I am learning in anatomy class?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi @jimnaa! I also had an anatomy class when I was in college and based on my experience joining a study group helps a lot. We were studying the bones and different parts of the it at first and it was overwhelming. There are so many bones that sometimes I feel frustrated because we have to identify each of them.
I have a small group of close friends and we usually study during our free time together.
It was actually fun and I was able to retain a lot. Make sure that if you join the group, you are comfortable with them. We try to help each other out. We also study individually but it helped a lot to discuss things as a group. We usually do some brain storming especially if we have an upcoming long quiz or practical exam.

If some members of our group cannot attend, my best friend and I who is taking the same course will take turns asking and answering questions. Sometimes, hearing questions and answers will help me recall important facts that are based on our lessons.

My best friend was my study partner and whenever we have a long exam that is schedule, a group of us will meet and do some reviews as well. So, try to find a study partner or join a study group for this will surely help you a lot in your anatomy class.
