Will I become addicted to BioShock?
What are the chances someone can become addicted to a video game like bio shock? Is there a website or forum that discusses the statistics of how many teens have addictions to role-playing video games?

Hi @worldcup14, it is really hard to tell whether one would be addicted to a certain game or not, unless that is the type of game you are looking for. Bioshock basically revolves around you trying to solve the mystery behind the underwater city you’ve been stranded on. It’s a very linear game with no multiplayer options available so I don’t think you will be addicted to it enough to keep going through the game over and over again (unless you’re a completist who likes to gather everything that can be collected in the game).
I don’t think there are any solid statistics that can be used to validate how many are actually addicted to videogames. I did a quick search on Google and found this site with a few numbers on internet and gaming addiction:
http://techaddiction.ca/internet_addiction_statistics.html
That site should give you a good overview on the current state of internet and gaming addiction among people.
