Will Cat Power release this song "ground control to major tom" to the public? On Itunes? or in a new album?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Thank you for your question.
I assume you mean "Space Oddity". Express Night Out says that it is unreleased although that she has made covers the focus of her career.

The original version was performed by David Bowie in 1969 and became his first big hit. It was used by the BBC as its theme for the Apollo 11 moon landing.

M$Schilling's "Major Tom" has been a favorite of mine for many years. A completely fantastic song that has actually spawned many cover versions.

M$Scorchedblood,
Just to clarify, covers of both Bowie's "Space Oddity" (by Cat Power/Chan Marshall) and Schilling's "Major Tom" (by Shiny Toy Guns) have been used in Lincoln commercials.
This is the David Bowie song. Peter Schillings cover was done by Shiney Toy Guns for a diffrent Car commerchal... if you are such a fan you should have realized that.
