Will CADIE the Panda take over the world or simply go elsewhere?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$Instead of having it on "Autopilot" all the time (i.e. analyze the e-mail and reply automatically) there might be an option for you to run CADIE, analyze the e-mail and propose couple of alternatives of responses then let you decide and response to the e-mail manually (with some editing involved).
Manual editing is a good idea (based on how Google AdSense sometimes still showing 'irrelevant' ads). Then again, AutoPilot is not the right word for this case. In addition, if I am stuck on an e-mail that I would like to respond NO in a nice way, CADIE would be a great help to provide me with some ideas (and excuses).
Further, tagging features can be added and auto respond can be generated based on this tag. For example, if an incoming message has words and sentences that sound like sales offering, the (nicely) rejected reply can be sent automatically. This would save heaps of time in responding this kind of messages.
If the message is spam, then CADIE would not respond to it (maybe it can be integrated with how anti-spam system handles spam messages).
