Will bigdog be use to transport injured personnel?

Tip for best answer: M$0.12
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It could be used to transport injured personnel, though its main use will be to act as a robotic pack mule to accompany soldiers in rough terrain. It can carry about 150kg, so will be able to carry a wounded person but it has a top speed of only 4 mph and might be too slow to be used this way. It would mainly be a pack mule and if a soldier gets injured, will be used to carry the latter.

Very true, but Boston Dynamics is looking to make an even better robot. It is developing the LS3, which will be better than BigDog as it will not need a driver and will be able to carry about 180 kg.
