You need to set up Windows file sharing on the mini.

Here is a really good (step-by-step) article straight from Apple:

Basically, you tell your mini that it's ok to "allow windows users to login", line up the Workgroup Names and turn on sharing on the mini.

It's important not to miss any of the steps in the Apple document. It might be a good idea to print out the instructions and check off each item as you complete it. This will ensure that you get it right without any trouble. The only real problem that can happen is that you could miss a step and become frustrated when things don't work out.
