I don't think there is any specific software in Ubuntu that will accomplish this task, but there are several VPN clients you can download and install into Ubuntu. There are probably some you could download using apt-get, but I'm not sure what they would be. My suggestion would be OpenVPN.

It does not work they are filtering non iPhone connections. Here's what I did:
