Why there is a change in references section in Mahalo pages

In some of my pages, I added same references in different places of the page. Previously, each of the references appear at the "References" section at the bottom only once. Now I have noticed that the same references at different places of a page are considered as separate references. This has made my references section larger than before. This has also increased the number of links to the same references.

Why there is a change?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I noticed this last week in Fast Facts, every citation pointed to same link, which used to create only one citation at bottom of page, now it creates one for each reference.
