about Wanda Sykes
Why the controversy over Wanda Sykes, when Rush Limbaugh says the nastiest, evil things that he does and gets away with it?

First, Rush Limbaugh does not say the "nastiest, evil things." When has Limbaugh ever said that he wished that President Obama or President Clinton or Nancy Pelosi would have health problems? If you believe that Limbaugh says the "nastiest, evil things," then you have been listening to other people talk about Rush Limbaugh and listening to the clips they want you to hear of him, but not listening to what he actually says.
Second, Wanda Sykes and other people are saying that Rush Limbaugh wants America to fail because Obama IS America. Was George Bush America? Limbaugh as much as anyone wants the country and the individuals who comprise it to be successful. He believes that what President Obama wants to do is bad for America. So if Obama succeeds, it will harm America, and therefore Limbaugh hopes that Obama fails in all his endevours so that America as we know it is not destroyed.
Limbaugh's statement: "Look, what (Obama)'s talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don't want this to work. So I'm thinking of replying to the guy, 'Okay, I'll send you a response, but I don't need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails'" (transcript).
President Obama has already harmed America by passing a "stimulus" bill with what even he calls "unsustainable" deficit spending (article). President Obama's involvement with GM has been bad for America and has not helped GM.
President Obama is not a friend to free maket, wanting rules controlling all parts of our economy rather than allowing the free market to work. That means that businesses will fail and businesses will succeed. That's how it works. Government involvement, not "runaway capitalism" is responsible at least inpart for the current recession. "It was the Clinton administration, obsessed with multiculturalism, that dictated where mortgage lenders could lend, and originally helped create the market for the high-risk subprime loans now infecting like a retrovirus the balance sheets of many of Wall Street's most revered institutions" (Investor's Business Daily).
I do not hope that anything bad happens to President Obama. I hope that he and his family have long and happy lives. But as for the political moves Obama is trying to make? I agree with Rush Limbaugh: I hope he fails. And I hope America succeeds.
