Why remove the funded by Mahalo tip when I add a tip?
Eg. If a question is funded by Mahalo for M$0.37 and I add a tip of M$1.00, the total tip is only M$1.00 instead of M$1.37
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

By the way, if mahalo provides a tip, and someone adds a 'team tip', that tip IS added tot the total (a team tip of M$0.05 adds up to M$0.42).

M$If somebody else asked the question, and it was funded by Mahalo and then you added the tip it would then be a M$1.37 question.

I voted this as "Best Answer," primarily because, given two very comparable answers, this one was stated in more definite terms for the benefit of adrianarcher, who, at this writing, is a relatively new user (i.e. yellow belt). Answers that begin with indefinite statements (e.g. "I think . . .") generally don't carry as much weight as answers that begin with definite statements (e.g. "The basic idea is . . ."), which are then well supported. Well done!
