Why (or How) can my Mahalo balance be off by $0.25? Where did my quarter go?
However, tip received says I have earned $587.50.
Now, I understand how these two numbers will differ in whole dollars (because it does not factor in direct questions) but it should not be off by fractions of a dollar because you must put whole dollar amounts on direct questions.
However, the only way to earn quarters was by answering and getting best answer on questions Mahalo placed the amount on.
You have to cash out whole amounts (I believe).
You can't put a $0.25 on a question.
When I counted how many $.25 questions I won, I got 46. That would put the amount at 11.50. So, what I'm wondering is where did my quarter go?
Did Travis Tritt take it?

What's your best theory?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The following questions are tipped twice
Do Betta Fish change colors?
Who has a photo of Freida Pinto at the Oscars 2009?
Virgina Madsen Academy Awards Dress - who has a photo?
So .75 dollars is added in the tip section
Hope it helps

M$I've noticed that not all questions stay at M$1 when they're funded by Mahalo. I think that @jasoncalacanis may have commented on this when he announced that the M$1 funding would continue through until April.
I hope that you get this figured out, Darcy and that it's not part of a larger issue.

M$2) Mahalo messed up (it happens!)
Mahalo has cheated me of a few bucks too-they removed a question of mine and did not give me the 2 bucks back (although they said they would).

M$This is just a guess... but I swear that's what happened to me.
