Why isn't there a computer Category?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I found one under consumer electronics. Then go to the computer section.

An interesting question. For some reason computer hardware is under consumer electronics, while software and related issues are under Technology and Internet. The questions show up anywhere.
If I had a vote, I'd vote to move the computer section from consumer hardware over to the Technology and Internet section.

While it might not be the most intuitive placement there is a computer section located under the "Consumer Electronics" category. I'm sure you, like many others, would think of looking under "Technology and Internet" for computers.

I am assuming it is because the Technology and the Internet cover that category
