Why is Version Cue turned on in Photoshop? How can I get it to STOP?!?

Version cue is not turned on in Photoshop, it is its own program.
On a mac go to your system prefs (pc control panel) and find version cue.
In version cue, disable it and prevent it from launching on startup.
