Why is there a whole section dedicated to incest at the adult bookstores??
ok so incest is illegal -- at least closely related incest. Yet I couldn't help but notice an entire section devoted to this act when searching for a toy for me and my wife the other day.
Granted, reading material of any kind is probably legal...but still...wow.
And sadly, I couldn't help but to look at it...not because I was interested in it personally, but kinda the same reason someone just has to look at midget porn or can't turn away from a train wreck...a OMG... are you even serious look at the stuff.

You answered it. The more bizarre the less people can keep themselves from looking at it. However, in this society there are more and more people that participate in incest and I suspect there are more people than we know that secretly wish they had with their siblings.
The biggest impact I would imagine comes from the fact that there are so many "mixed families." After all in mixed marriages and families the kids aren't really related even though they are legally so they are going to be physically attracted to one another.
