why is that when i use my laptop in youtube or myspace and someone is using the desktop the desktop goes really slow.
the laptop has vista on it and the desktop has windows xp on it. the laptop is an acer and the desktop is a hp. not sure if that matters but i am just trying to give as much information as i can to help you people help me. both computers are using flock as the browsers. hope someone can help me out. my laptop is running off the router

How are these two computers connected to the Internet? It almost seems like your laptop is connected via your desktop that has limited memory and streaming video traffic is enough to slow it down.
Please provide more details about a) how you connect from your modem/cable to each of your computers and b) more about your computers including memory and how you configured them to reach the internet.
