Why is my name capitalized on all banking/tax forms?
I've always wondered, why are names capitalized on banking forms, tax forms, legal certificates. There some conspiracy theory that says when your name is in caps - your not you but a "corperation entity" clone. Something as in when your born, the birth certificate (in all caps) is a corp entity for the person in the new ship ( ie body ) ...

The reason is much less sinister. Using all capital letters makes a name (and address, for that matter) easier to read, and prevents spelling and capatilization errors.
A lot of people have unusual capatalization in their names. Like McCormick could also be written Mccormick. A lot of times, it is hard to figure out how a name should be capatalized, especially if the data entry into the system comes from a handwritten document. So, just using all capital letters makes this problem go away.
Another reason is that a lot of letters look very similar in lower case. the letters r and n spaced closely together look very much like a lower case m. (see? rn m). Lower case o, a, u and e also look a lot more alike in their lower case versions than they do in their capital letter versions (oaue) (OAUE).
That's all. If you ever do a lot of data entry (as I do), especially from handwritten forms, this will begin to make a LOT of sense

You need to get your head screwed on straight !
If you get an envelope from a bank, or any other institution that you have an account with and your name is all caps then they are responding to you in relations to that account. Now if before you open the envelope you look at your name and it is properly spelled in upper and lower case letters then they are soliciting you to enter into a contract with them. And this envelope should be thrown away because the deeper you get into their trap the more money they can go out into the world and make from your agreement to fund the dept of your children.
