Jerry Lundegaard purchased some brand new cars that he was trying to sell on the side, but a flim flam man named George Keagan took Jerry's money and ran. Jerry had borrowed the money and was suddenly feeling the heat. This is where the movie FARGO begins.

I wrote the original script back in 1982, with George as the main character, but they movie ended up using Jerry and the subsequent writer basically rewrote the original script into what you now see in FARGO.
