Why is Jason Calacanis trying to shamelessly steal Leo Laporte's brand by producing far inferior shows?

Tip for best answer: M$0.10
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The "This Week In {whatever}" thing began in 1977 with This Week In Baseball.
Mel Allen should be getting all the dough and so while both Jason and Leo have shows that prefix themselves with this "TWi" thing they are not the first to do so and who makes the better show is entirely subjective.

Some like the Leo thing, some like the Jason thing.. I cannot for the life of me imagine why in the world full grown adults would be caring about this and carrying on sooooo much about this if they are not financially involved. Get over it ...you are on the internet and not in a "This Week Pontificating" episode.

why don't you take part in the live chat during one of Leo's TWiT podcast recordings when Jason is on and ask him. Maybe you'll get an answer.
