why is it so hard to make any money on here now they changed the pay from 1$ to 25 cents.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Like Spoon mentioned there are other ways to make money too. If you manage some good pages, they will bring in money by themselves.
You can also complete tasks to earn more money.

M$Keep in mind that answering questions is not the only way to make money on Mahalo, feel free to explore the other options and see if perhaps those options work well for you!

M$Plus, you can still earn a lot of money with the M¢25 questions since there are lots of those questions imported from Twitter. Answering four of those questions is easier than answering a M$1 question (which expects more), in my opinion.

What do you mean by managing pages I know when I first worked for Mahalo I did pages for them.
Managing pages is a new feature on Mahalo that lets users create new pages or claim pages that have already been made. It is probably very similar to what you did when you 1st worked for Mahalo, so you should have no problem getting into it.
Start by going to the main mahalo site (not the answers part). Search for something you are interested in. If it is a popular topic it will probably have a page already. Check to see if someone is managing it. If not, you can claim it. If your topic does not exist, you can create it right then and their, and then claim it.
These pages have google ads and when people click on the ads, the pages make money. You get 50% of the earning from the pages you manage. Good luck!
How to Build a Mahalo Page is a useful page to get started with managing Mahalo pages. It's quite a bit different than the Greenhouse was.
