Why is it so hard to get into the Air Force these days?

Im not actually in the Air Force but I am in the Army. The Air Force is over powered right now therefore they are not accepting as many recruits. Also you have to score fairly decent on your ASVAP. There standards are also higher so they wont take alot of people with a bad background.
