It's probably likely that you live next to a water source or a lot of plants (or both), and you have been having hot weather lately. Heat from the Sun evaporates water from rivers and lakes, and plants give off ("transpire") water during photosynthesis. That water is carried into the atmosphere to create clouds - which then condenses in the colder atmosphere, releasing the water back to Earth in the form of rain. This is call the Hydrologic Cycle (or "Water Cycle").
