Adderall is prescribed to patients to help aid with the difficult side effects of a few different medical conditions but the most common medical reason for Adderall to be prescribed includes the common medical conditions known as ADHD and/or ADD. Not all patients who are prescribed Adderall stay on it for the duration of their lives, as there are alternative training methods for individuals with ADHD, for learning and processing different situations. A high percentage of children who are diagnosed with ADHD actually stop suffering with ADHD during their teenage years and no longer require any form of treatment. There is no particular or exact reason why this occurs in teenagers but it is thought that hormonal changes in the brain occur during adolescents which seems to simply eradicate the condition away.
