Why dont people ask questions about dental related issues? Do people not care about their teeth?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

They do! I have seen, and even answered some questions related to dental issues. There just happens to not be any at the moment.

If you look at this link, you can see dental questions that have already been answered:

You may have to go to dental blogs or dental-related sites if you want more questions regarding dental issues. I have a list of frequently asked questions on my site. Take a look, maybe I'll answer yours.

Yes, i agree that people are usually less carefull about their teeth as compared to other issues. For example you will see the large number of physicians and lots of patients with them, but very lesser dentists with fewer patients. Actually people don't care much till they cannot live without consulting any dentist or asking for any tip. For example if some body is having the teeth stains, he/she will not, usually, consult a dentist. But when the pain will start they will start asking questions and finding the best teeth whitening tips. Simply we can say that dental issues cause the pain and problems in their final stages and people usually don't care about them in the earlier stages.

thanks,
imran.

I care about my teeth. I don't ask questions about teeth related issues on here, though. I normally call my dentist if I'm having a problem since they're one doctors office that actually pick their phone up.

I just don't think dental hygiene is a going concern for everyone right now. It seems like money is what's on everyone's mind. Teeth don't seem very fascinating either. If you could choose between talking about consumer electronics and gingivitis, which would you pick?
