Why don't I have a seller rating on Amazon Marketplace?
I have sold about a dozen items now (over a few months) on Amazon Marketplace, and I am still designated as "Just Launched". Would this just be due to people neglecting to submit feedback? Or am I forgetting to do something important when I sell products? I feel like there should be some indication that I *have* actually sold some things, and there apparently hasn't been negative feedback, at least.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes, it is because no one has left you feedback yet. As soon as you receive your first feedback rating, the "just launched" designation will be replaced with a regular seller rating.
Don't be discourage about not receiving any feedback. Most Amazon sellers receive feedback on 10% - 20% of their sales. Leaving feedback is an individual's choice, not a requirement.
If a buyer does not leave feedback within 30 days of their order, Amazon sends a reminder e-mail. Most feedback is left after this 30 day reminder. After 90 days, there is no way for a buyer to leave feedback.
Also, make sure that you are leaving feedback for your buyers, as well. That might be a motivator for them to reciprocate. It might not be bad idea to include a note on a packing slip or within any e-mail correspondence that says something to the effect of, "If you are satisfied with your transaction, I would greatly appreciate your feedback on Amazon.com."

That was a perfect answer. Thanks a lot. I don't think I ever left feedback for any of my buyers -- at least I don't remember Amazon ever reminding me to. That extra note is a great idea. :D
