Why does the Joanna Krupa peta ad topic page say that there's a "crucifix" over her nipples, when it's actually just a cross?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Exploits Christian symbols? The cross is an implement of torture and punishment. I recognize it's use and history but Christians hardly have a copyright on the device. But it's clear the device is being used in association with Heaven and Angel symbology. Perhaps the picture would have also been possible if she was hiding her naughty bits with a harp instead.
As a photographer I applaud the creative use of the T shape though.
I wonder how PETA justified the use of Feathers for wings. Isn't that exploiting and using birds the same way leather and fur uses other animals?
I think they didn't think it all the way through... but it's a great way to get otherwise potentially modest models to pose nude. Go PETA!
