Why does the Mahalo Answers page constantly show the same questions on every page?

Every time I poke through the unanswered questions on Mahalo Answers I keep seeing the same questions constantly repeated on the pages. When I go back or refresh the questions change. What is going on? Is there a bug on Mahalo?

Check it out:
http://www.mahalo.com/answers?filter=open&sortby=sort_unanswered&page=4

Just change the page number or click Next and Previous and I hope you'll see what I'm talking about.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi everybody!

Yes, this is a tricky little issue I noticed a couple days ago. Ahhh, technology, why won't you just *work* already :-)

Thanks everyone for your feedback and observations. I'm going to touch base with the devs again about this today and see if I can get them to dig into the problem a little more. I'm very grateful for the observations and feedback from the Mahalo community, so never hesitate to throw any bug theories or site suggestions my way!

Best,
Corey Mac

I just ran into that problem! The solution I decided on in my head at least was that more unanswered questions were being added as I was looking through the pages and since I would go to the next page, the questions I just looked at were also being pushed to the next page because of new questions being added to the list...Just my theory but definetly something I too am curious about. Hope my theory helps a little! ^_^

i think something glitchy has been going on for a while...this has happened to me also in other areas of the site. not so often getting an exact repeat of the previous page's questions, but sometimes1/3 or so of the page is a rerun and it's NOT because so many new questions have been added that the repeats have been pushed down ...

I know what you're talking about. Happened a few days ago before my 6 day hiatus from the internet when I wanted to look through older unanswered questions. Asked a staff member about it and they didn't know what I meant.

I'd contact @coreymac about it and show him the link and a screenshot what you're talking about. It is something glitchy with the current MA 2.0.
