Why does Sam's Club and Walmart sell the same items?
Are Sam's Club and Walmart owned by the same company? Is it cheaper to buy in bulk at Sam's Club than to buy at regular price at Walmart?

Many of the items in Sam's Club and Wal-Mart are the same; however, Sam's Club often sells packages of larger quantities or multi-packs for a smaller per/ounce or per/item cost than Wal-Mart. Sometimes Sam's Club will have specials that are not available in the Wal-Mart stores...such as special furniture. It is generally cheaper per unit (e.g. per/ounce or per/item) to purchase something at Sam's Club since it is sold in bulk; however, since the packages at Sam's Club have a larger quantity, you need to consider whether your family is large enough to consume perishables prior to spoiling. It would obviously not be a better deal to buy a 7 pound package of grapes for $0.75/pound if you only consume 1 pound prior to them spoiling. Frozen food, toiletries, papers goods, etc are all great to stock up and save!
