Why does Jon Stewart have a beard? Does he look better with or without one?

Just caught a glimpse of Comedy Central on the television at Mahalo and I was surprised to see the host Jon Stewart actually has a pretty noticeable beard chilling on his chin. Is he just trying out a new look? Getting ready for a role in a movie? What do you think of Stewart's new facial hair decision?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

All I know is Jon Stewart went on vacation and came back with this uneven part grey... part white patch of fur on his face. He looks like a cute Furby with mange. Sorry Jon.

But I did find out, Corey, that there are two groups out there. Once that loves the beard, and one that hates it.

"This reveal has sparked a firestorm of controversy, with two camps starting to form on twitter, on livejournal, and every other place of monumental importance. Either one hates his beard and is conspiring to break into his home at night to shave it off, or one finds the beard strangely enticing and starts to giggle when they look at his chin for too long."

If you have a moment to check out a short clip from the show at this link http://exm.nr/dz3rn8 Jon will explain that it is not real at all, but made of Fluffernutter cream.

I'm slowly getting used to it. But I'm sure that as soon as I don't notice it anymore... he'll go and chop it off!
Damn you Jon!

I'm pretty sure it's to do a movie, a sequel to one he was in with a beard. I actually kinda like it :P
