Why does everyone like Angry Birds so much?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

A friend asked me too, why do I like playing it so much (so much that even when I lay down trying to put my toddler to sleep I still do the sling shooting, lol). Well, personally, I like it because the game is too catchy. It has a good graphic design and very colorful especially for the kids. I also like it because of the simplicity of the mechanics of the game. One goal, just finish them all. Too much of its simplicity, as I get to the higher levels or chapters, the game gets harder and harder. You don't just shoot and shoot anymore, but to aim strategically to finish your goal. You have to at least set your shot at least in an exact angle to be able to hit your target. It gets addictive when you can't leave a certain level. I think this is one of the reason why people got hooked on this game.

M$Simplicity, Puzzles, and is geared towards all age groups.
Angry birds is easy for anyone to pickup and learn how to play after a few minutes. It is so popular because it actually takes thinking to solve a level instead of the mindless shoot-em-ups or other games.

M$Granted the graphics arent the based for any mobile game however because its so simple any one can play it without too much difficulties.
I have Angry Birds on my android based phone and even my five year old son has no problems clearing the levels.
Another point though is it is quite addictive too, as soon as you get on the later levels it becomes a little more difficult and then you have to think of which pigs to get first or which part of the level to hit.

M$I like Angry Birds because of the colors and modernness. The shapes and colors appeal to our eyes. Also, somehow the makers managed to apply the rules of physics to the game so it has a really realistic game effects.
Another thing that makes it popular is the publicity it has received. I think the snowball effect has a lot to do with how popular the game becomes. Just like the way Facebook became the king of social networks. Did anyone else noticed how cell phone commercials unconciously advertised Facebook?
