Why does everyone hate Fox News? It isn't the only biased news station!

I am not a Republican or a Democrat. In fact I could really do without the whole party system. There is plenty to criticize about the Democratic party and the Democrats in office.
And there should be more LEGITIMATE criticism of all politicians by the media.
I emphasize "legitimate" because that seems to be the root of the problem.
Fox News goes on endlessly about drivel like "Is Obama is a Non-American Citizen/Muslim/Racist/Socialist?". Other networks as well, but not to the same level.
This type of reporting only divides the nation and takes away from all the legitimate questions we should be asking (about the bailouts, economy etc.)
As you say, other media sometimes have a bias and don't report the facts.
But Fox News is by far the worst at this, in my opinion.
I really think all news media should take a lesson from Jon Stewart
on how a real interview or news topic should be handled (ironic as his show is supposed to be comedy and not real news)
A good example was his interview with Mike Huckabee on the topic of abortion. (I would highly recommend the full version of the interview if you have the time)
This interview is two people with completely different ideas on the most difficult topic out there discussing it in a frank and civil manor. Most importantly with a host showing respect for his guest (not once calling him a "pin head")
That is what I would like to see more of and that is what I do not see coming from Fox News in particular.

M$if you could prove to me that the other networks do exactly what Fox does but from a liberal perspective I will believe, but just because they dont call Obama a Socialist does not make them liberal, really it makes Fox irresponsible.
again I must reply with an example of a new outlet that supposedly tilts far left

here they call Olberman the agressor and what he usually does is respond to something Fox says about him or someone else at the network, read the comments, yes when someone says something about you that you know is not true you should be able to respond that does not make you liberal or a leftwinger, when sean hannity accuses Hillary Clinton of being involved in Vince Fosters death it invites a responce and should have gotten him pulled from the air, read the other comments because that is what this network does, free speach does not give you right to slander people, and there is a lot more slander on the right then the left, the only thing a few did on the left that comes close is calling former president Bush a racist when he was far from it.
this assumes that they are liberal. Joe Scarborough was an elected republican congress person. is that what you mean by liberal? I was watching cnn and the news reader referred to an alleged criminal ( meaning the case had yet to be resolved) as a scum, is that what you mean by liberal? there is no other network that does what Fox does, but for the other party, Nancy Grace is a republican, and most of the Fox people do not know what a socialist is, when we invaded Iraq the other networks were on board until what the previous administration was selling was not true, what negative things, Olberman tells you his show is commentary and whose side he is on Oreilly does not.
But can you tell me nearly as much negative things about the liberal stations? They are guilty of the same biases. Maybe it only seems like Fox is the worst because it is the center of so much criticism.
ALL newscasters and channels have bias ideas and principles. I mean come on, I`m only 14 and I can see this. It depends on what you agree with. I am a fairly conservative young man and even I can see when Fox News is supporting or bashing some sort of story. They either embellish something to great porportions that they agree with, or completely take out of context something they dislike, just like any other news station. And I`m sure your thinking, "wait this kid is 14, what the hell does he know?" Well I have very open parents that have given me the freedom to choose and learn what I want. They didn`t try to force anything down my throat. In the school system, kids are being fed all these liberal based teachings and they will continue to believe it until they are taught to "learn for themselves". And I pray to God I am not alive to see that scary generation. Right now, (as of Monday, September 20th, 2010 at 6:02 PM) the political seats and congress are filled with liberals. So every little bit of washed-up propaganda they feed us the news crews will exaggerate tenfold and then send to us. Same goes with the conservatives or any other political party any American so chooses to follow. Thus, termoil between the majority of people and Fox News will continue until the tides change and the republicans own office. Then, Fox News will be praised and rejoiced for everything they broadcast, and stations like ABC or magazines like TIME and Newsweek will be ridiculed and looked upon as "bias". So to answer your unintentionally broad question, I am afraid this will go on until the human race destroys itself. Besides, it's in human nature to rebel and cause conflict. Whether it's about a bias news station, or if Taco Bell tastes better than authentic mexican food. There will always be something to dislike or argue about.
