why does a link try to download an executable program instead of jumping to a different page?
Using the latest Firefox browser 3.5.7,
under XP - SP2 with all patches.
When logged to DROPBOX, all clicks to normal DROPBOX links, like: _Home_ or _Forum_,
will open a dialog box to d/l "an octet stream"! .
This, instead of just simply opening the corresponding web page, (ie: "Home.html"),
when you click on the DROPBOX link: _Home_.
The connection to DROPBOX is via HTTPS, if that makes a difference...
Is there a MIME definition lacking in Firefox?
BTW: In the Chrome browser, all DROPBOX clicked links work fine...

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
