Why does a crush fizzle out?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This one is an easy question. A "crush" is some chemicals that happen. After the chemicals in the brain have cleared...reality hits. For example....when you first met your "crush" and were attracted because of how they "flirted" with you...6 months later, you notice that they still have that flirty nature...but it's with everyone...not just you.....so your "crush" has let you down. Your crush are your expectations planted in your head of that person....their reality crushes your crush.

It's kind of like the difference in loving someone and being in love with them. It also may depend why you were crushing on them. Sometimes we have a crush on someone that we hardly know, we idealize how they must be. After spending time with them or getting to know them we may realize that this is not who we thought that they were. It also takes the mystery away. Like being in love, it is a state of mind. Hope this helps.

I think it's because of the wait.
If you have a chrush on someone for a ling time but it seems not to be going anywhere than soon you will find yourself moving on.
No matter how much you like someone if they seem not to like you like you like them, or you can't find yourself telling them because your frightened on what there reaccation will be then youl find yourself liking them less and less.
