Why do YOU think Sun Tzu's The Art of War is still relevant today?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Sun Tzu's The Art of War is still relevant today because, while it does include some writing specific to war, it is a collection of teachings about dealing with human (group) interaction; Strategy and tactics for dealing with human (group) interaction, in the form of the enemy. Most of what "Sun Tzu says" is easily applied in our modern day because people, by and large, haven't changed much since his time. The surroundings have changed, and we have clearly advanced technologically, but people are basically the same.

I agree with Sun Tzu's statement "A general that fights a hundred battles and wins a hundred battles is not a great general. The great general is one who finds a way to win without fighting a single battle."

Following this statement would save a lot of lives and prevent unnecessary conflict.
